Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The first secretary of the MPLA in the province of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, reiterated, this Friday, the need to reinforce the insertion of activists in society, as an integral part of solutions to community problems.<\/b><\/p>\n

The party leader, who was speaking during the V ordinary plenary session of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Huambo, considered that activists need to improve the transmission of messages of trust and hope in society, in addition to expressing citizens’ aspirations.<\/p>\n

To fulfill this aim, he called for unity and firmness around the MPLA and President Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, as well as commitment to complying with the guidelines of the 2024 Political Agenda, recently presented in the country’s capital, Luanda.<\/p>\n

Lotti Nolika said that the balance and projection of the activities of the V ordinary plenary session of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Huambo must, among others, ensure commitment to the day-to-day aspirations of the population and militants.<\/p>\n

The meeting addressed, among other matters, the balance of the party’s actions in 2023 and the activity plan for 2024, as well as the report on the projects developed by the Government of the province of Huambo, the program and the budget for this year.<\/p>\n

The execution of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM) and the proposal for the areas to be intervened, within the scope of the requalification program for the main neighborhoods, streets and roads in the city of Huambo were also analyzed during the V session of the MPLA ( party in power in Angola).<\/p>\n

According to the definitive results of the elections on August 24, 2022, released by the National Electoral Commission (CNE), the MPLA obtained, in the Huambo provincial circle, 308 thousand 731 votes, electing three deputies, out of the five possible.<\/p>\n
