Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The VI Session of the Angola-Ghana Bilateral Commission assessed this Saturday, in Luanda, the alignment of ideas with a view to strengthening cooperation in the fields of Transport, Agriculture, Oil and Gas, Higher Education, Science Technology and Innovation, Justice and Rights Humans, among others.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a press release, the technical teams from both countries focused on the Verbal Process, a basic legal instrument that contains the structural elements for agreements in the areas under analysis and also on political and diplomatic relations.<\/p>\n

The work of the Technical Meeting was co-supervised, respectively, by the director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Dias, and by Hanna Nyarko, coordinator of the Economic and Political Area of \u200b\u200bthe Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the opening of the technical meeting, Carlos Dias said that holding this Bilateral Cooperation Session represents the materialization of the will of the Heads of State of Angola and Ghana to revitalize and boost economic, technical, business and scientific cooperation for the benefit of both people.<\/p>\n

He added that the meeting serves as a platform for the parties to express their interest in working together, exchanging experiences, sharing challenges and “know how”, in order to encourage commercial exchanges between small and medium-sized companies.<\/p>\n

The diplomat launched a challenge to the Ghanaian counterpart for the creation, in the near future, of the Angola-Ghana Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n

For her part, diplomat Hannah Nyarko, aligned with her Angolan counterpart’s thinking, suggested that the African Continental Free Trade Area platform be used to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The coordinator expressed the desire to see Angolan investments in her country, especially in areas of common interest.<\/p>\n
