Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rui Migue\u0302ns de Oliveira, stated Thursday (22), in Prague, that Angola’s land law should not be seen as an inhibiting element of any kind investment since Angola is not the only country with the concession in force.<\/b><\/p>\n

Rui Migue\u0302ns de Oliveira spoke to the press about the activity developed with Czech businesspeople, on the occasion of the official visit that Angolan President Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o made to the Czech Republic at the invitation of his counterpart, Petra Pavel.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Land Law should not be a constraint because the concessions last for 60 years and that is enough time to amortize any type of investment,\u201d said the minister.<\/p>\n

The most important thing, he continued, is to explain and give guarantees to investors that this time can give rise to an extension, it is also necessary to say that Angola is not the only country that has this type of laws, and in other places it has not been an element limiting to the private sector.<\/p>\n

Still according to the minister, the political authorities have outlined the strategy and the great challenge for the sector he directs will be to implement and transform these guidelines into concrete programs and projects, in the medium term, the goal is the development of the private sector, taking advantage of the Czech technology, particularly in agro-industry and in the process of industrialization of natural resources.<\/p>\n

For Rui Migue\u0302ns de Oliveira, this aim will only be achieved with the training of staff, and for the industrialization process, staff capable of moving machines, repairing them and conducting projects will be needed in order to support the development of the private sector, and in this point of view, the visit of the Angolan Head of State was a big step.<\/p>\n

The Czech Republic is a country in Central Europe whose capital is the city of Prague, the country’s main tourist destination, with a population of more than 10.7 million inhabitants, adopted a market economy, centered on commerce and industry, based in international trade and the automobile industry.<\/p>\n

Political-diplomatic relations between Angola and the Czech Republic date back to the Cold War period, before the dismemberment of the Slovak Republic, both formed what was then Czechoslovakia, disintegrated on January 1, 1993, when it was part of the Soviet socialist bloc.<\/p>\n
