Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The first secretary of the MPLA in the province of Cunene, Gerdina Didalelwa, reiterated this Saturday, in Ondjiva, the reinforcement and strengthening of the level of internal organization of the base structures, with a view to revitalizing the party’s presence in society, taking into account takes into account current political challenges.<\/b><\/p>\n

The leader, who was speaking at the event to publicize the MPLA’s political agenda for the year 2024, considered basic structures to be fundamental in bringing the party closer to communities, as it is through direct contact with citizens that the party’s strength lies.<\/p>\n

For this reason, he appealed to MPLA activists, friends and supporters to continue defending the image and prestige of the party, as well as its leader, whose support is essential to face the challenges.<\/p>\n

Gerdina Didalelwa also considered it essential that the militant mass occupy spaces for public debates, using digital platforms ethically and civilly, to maintain the highest levels and good image of the party.<\/p>\n

He mentioned that the agenda, based on 11 strategic axes, constitutes an instrument that will serve as support to the Executive, with a view to responding to the major challenges posed in the political, social, economic and financial context, with a view to improving the well-being of the populations.<\/p>\n

He argued that with this instrument, the MPLA proposes to stimulate and monitor the implementation of actions of an economic and social nature, with a direct impact on improving the lives of citizens.<\/p>\n

The axes of the party agenda also include bringing governance closer to the citizen, preserving unity, with respect for diversity of thought, as well as establishing and promoting policies that stimulate Angolan sentiment among Angolan communities abroad.<\/p>\n

The MPLA 2024 Political Agenda also highlights national unity and cohesion, the implementation of public policies aimed at strengthening national production, with emphasis on support for family farming, staff training, among others.<\/p>\n

The act of publicizing the political agenda was marked by cultural musician activities, witnessed by party activists, friends and supporters.<\/p>\n
