Even so, for safety reasons, a limitation of the traffic flow capacity was implemented, which caused \u201csome delays in the early hours of the morning\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, as an official NAV source confirmed to Lusa, a TAAG plane that made the connection between Luanda and Lisbon was diverted to the airport in Seville, Spain.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Despite the occasional failure of the air traffic management system, the existing safety procedures to deal with similar situations ensured that traffic safety was never at stake&#8221;, assured the institution, quoted by Lusa.<\/p>\n<p>NAV&#8217;s Director of Communications, Paulo Lagarto, told the Observer that four flights were affected by the radar failure. He assured, however, that by the end of yesterday morning the situation would return to normal.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of speaking, the NAV spokesperson could not say what caused the radar failure. &#8220;We are evaluating. It is the first time that this has happened to our company.
