Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angolans residing in the state of Goi\u00e1s, Federative Republic of Brazil, reflected on the 20 years of Peace and National Reconciliation in the country, marked on 4 April.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Angolan mission in Brazil refers, in a press release, that Ambassador Flor\u00eancio de Almeida, at the meeting with the Angolan community, at the weekend, appealed for the commitment to the preservation of peace and national reconciliation.<\/p>\n

“Angola is a big country, which comes to all of us, with many resources and natural beauties, a pride”, emphasized ambassador Flor\u00eancio de Almeida, stressing that “we all have a duty to make Angola a prosperous and developed nation” .<\/p>\n

BI free campaign<\/b><\/p>\n

On the occasion, Ambassador Flor\u00eancio de Almeida announced the free campaign for handling diverse documentation, for a period of three months.<\/p>\n

The April 4th Day of Reflection program, 20 years of Peace and National Reconciliation, continues in the states of Bahia and Cear\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Celebrations in Botswana<\/b><\/p>\n

Under the motto “Angolans holding hands for the future”, the Embassy of Angola in Botswana held a cultural journey, with an exhibition of Angolan art and gastronomy.<\/p>\n

The activity was developed as part of the celebration of 20 years of peace, signed on 4 April, and brought together the Angolan community in Botswana. The event was attended by diplomats, Embassy staff and Angolan staff in SADC, as well as other guests.<\/p>\n

As part of the celebrations, Ambassador Beatriz de Morais highlighted the achievements made by the country, with emphasis on the deepening of democracy and the guarantee of fundamental freedoms enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Angola.<\/p>\n
