Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, is in Maputo, the Mozambican capital, to participate on Tuesday in the tenth session of the Angola\/Mozambique Mixed Cooperation Commission.<\/b><\/p>\n

Taking place under the motto \u201cMozambique and Angola together for economic and social progress\u201d, the meeting will evaluate the projects in portfolios between the two countries, review agreements and assess the report of the meeting of senior officials, held on Sunday in Maputo, says a press release, sent to ANGOP.<\/p>\n

The meeting will also review bilateral issues in the fields of politics and diplomacy, defense, interior, territorial administration*, economy, finance, transport, communications, industry, commerce, energy, mineral resources, oil, public works, agriculture, fisheries , sea, and environment.<\/p>\n

The event represents the two countries’ firm commitment to cementing a historic relationship, which dates back to the beginnings of the national liberation struggle to achieve independence.<\/p>\n

Angola and Mozambique want to build a solid partnership, which brings common interests closer and allows fruitful social and business exchange, for the benefit of both and based on comparative and complementary advantages.<\/p>\n

The two countries have signed more than 30 legal cooperation instruments, based on the General Agreement on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation, dated 2005.<\/p>\n

Among the agreements, we highlight the exemption of visas in diplomatic and service passports, the facilitation of visas in ordinary passports, as well as others in the field of air transport.<\/p>\n
