Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A delegation from the MPLA committee in Cuando Cubango, headed by its 1st provincial secretary, Jose\u0301 Martins, began today, Monday, a party-political journey to assess and boost the work that the base structures have carried out, aiming at cohesion, strengthening and growth of the party.<\/b><\/p>\n

The first contact with the \u201cmilitant mass\u201d took place in the main town of the municipality of Cuito Cuanavale, 189 kilometers from the capital of Cuando Cubango, Menongue, where the 1st secretary was received by the first secretary of the MPLA in that municipality, Daniel Bimbi Alfredo, and other activists.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, Jose\u0301 Martins explained to the activists that the objective of the delegation of the majority party in Angola is to verify the levels of organization, functioning, mobilization and growth of the MPLA, as well as the conditions that are being created for the holding of base assemblies renewal of mandates and the JMPLA organic process.<\/p>\n

He defended the continued unity of the party to face the challenges that the MPLA faces in relation to the development of the country and the social well-being of the population, which is why it is important that party leaders can, in a timely and objective manner, provide solutions to the main social problems that affect citizens.<\/p>\n

The caravan that has already left, via land, for the municipality of Mavinga, another 400 kilometers from Menongue, on Wednesday has a political party activity at the headquarters, and then continues to the municipality of Rivungo, bordering the Republic of Zambia , more than 800 kilometers from the capital of Cuando Cubango.<\/p>\n

During approximately 12 days of political-party work, which is limited to the MPLA dynamic \u201cAll for the bases, all for the Communities\u201d, the delegation will also develop its activity in the municipalities of Dirico, Calai and Cuangar.<\/p>\n

The agenda includes, among other activities, the delivery of some equipment to women entrepreneurs, through the \u201cMama\u0303 Levanta\u201d project.<\/p>\n
