Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The director of the Office of Records and Administrative Modernization of Cunene, Pela\u0301gio Pukulukeni, stated, this Tuesday, in Ondjiva, that the Public Administration Acts and Procedures Simplification Program is ensuring greater dynamics and speed in procedural processing in different public bodies.<\/b><\/p>\n

In progress since 2021, Simplifica aims to improve the provision of public services to citizens and companies, favor the digital principle in relations between administration and individuals and exclude the vicious cycle of corruption in public services.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a meeting to evaluate the implementation of Simplifica with staff from the municipal administration of Cuanhama, the person in charge said that the project ensured greater efficiency and speed of public services and is helping to improve the relationship between citizens and institutions, as well as guaranteeing the credibility of the work.<\/p>\n

Pela\u0301gio Pukulukeni highlighted that the diplomas establish a set of simplified acts and procedures that allow reducing waiting times for the provision of services, promoting quick responses to requests from individuals, eliminating unnecessary formalities, among others.<\/p>\n

For his part, the municipal administrator of Cuanhama, Jose\u0301 Kalomo, praised the importance of the meeting, justifying that it made it possible to verify the degree of compliance with the referenced diplomas and verify the difficulties and recurring constraints in their applicability.<\/p>\n

Simplifica Stages and Diplomas<\/p>\n

In June 2021, the Executive launched Simplifica 0.1, through Presidential Decree no 161\/21 of 21 June, whose program aims to eliminate 31 administrative acts, in the fields of Justice, Commerce and Education, including the requirement to present the birth certificate when applying for renewal of the Identity Card (ID).<\/p>\n

Based on the gradual process, Decree 188\/21 of August 1st was approved, which aims to implement the discontinuation of the presentation of central and local public administration services, the requirement for documents such as criminal records, military registration cards and police declarations in case of loss..<\/p>\n

Decree 193\/22 of 22 July was also approved, which eliminates the requirement for a residence certificate for citizens who have a resident card.<\/p>\n

On July 27, 2022, Simplifica 2.0 was launched, which brings together 26 acts and 89 concrete measures of Simplifica, with emphasis on the unification of the booklet and the property title.<\/p>\n
