Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The United Republic of Tanzania plans, in 2025, to open the diplomatic mission in Angola, as part of the deepening of bilateral cooperation that unites the two countries and peoples.<\/b><\/p>\n

This intention was expressed this Thursday in Copenhagen, Denmark, during a working meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Eastern Community of Tanzania, January Yusuf Makamba.<\/p>\n

The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Nordic and African Countries, also served for the two entities to analyze matters of bilateral, regional, continental and international interest.<\/p>\n

Regarding bilateralism, January Yusuf Makamba took the opportunity to congratulate Angola for the positive role it has been playing in achieving peace on the African continent.<\/p>\n

Ministers Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio and January Yusuf Makamba also addressed issues relating to the various candidacy processes for various regional and continental bodies, as well as Tanzania’s assumption of the next rotating presidency of the SADC Defense and Security body, currently led by Zambia.<\/p>\n

Political-diplomatic cooperation relations between Angola and the United Republic of Tanzania are good and are based on historical ties of friendship, fraternity and solidarity, forged in the struggle for the liberation of the African peoples.<\/p>\n
