Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Seventeen commercial banks acquired a total of USD 200 million made available, Monday (06), by the National Bank of Angola (BNA), within the scope of monetary policy management.<\/b><\/p>\n

The statement on the Foreign Exchange Market-Spot-Sale of Currency, released this Wednesday, on the BNA website, states that the operations were carried out at the average exchange rate in force at the time of the transaction of USD\/AOA 843.5300 and carried out through of the Bloomberg FXGO Platform.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that in the financial system there are 23 banking institutions, 21 of which are privately owned and two are publicly owned.<\/p>\n

There are also 62 non-banking financial institutions, including 26 exchange offices, 19 micro-credit companies, 15 companies providing payment services and two credit cooperatives.<\/p>\n
