Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Ambassador Maria Ca\u0302ndida Teixeira delivered, this Wednesday, in San Salvador, the figurative copies of the letters of credentials to the vice-minister of foreign relations of El Salvador, Adriana Mira<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a press release this Thursday, the document that qualifies the Angolan diplomat to exercise the functions of representative of the Angolan State before the authorities of this Central American country was delivered during a ceremony that took place at the headquarters of Salvadoran diplomacy.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the main areas of cooperation between the two countries were analyzed, with the parties reiterating their interest in boosting the bilateral agenda, strengthening cooperation in different sectors, namely pharmaceuticals, textiles, tourism, energy, agriculture, public security, sport and culture.<\/p>\n

After Cuba, where she resides, El Salvador is the sixth country in which the Angolan diplomat is accredited as a representative of the Angolan State, missing only Honduras and Haiti.<\/p>\n

Diplomatic relations between Angola and the Republic of El Salvador were established in September 2023, in New York City.<\/p>\n

El Salvador is the smallest nation in Central America, known for its beaches on the Pacific Ocean, popular surfing spots and mountainous landscape.<\/p>\n

As a result of a crusade against gangs, the country went from being the most dangerous in the world to one of the safest.<\/p>\n

El Salvador managed to consolidate one of the most stable economies in Latin America and specialized in exports.<\/p>\n

It has a dynamic business environment, structured with solid macroeconomic foundations and strong government institutions, which have promoted healthy competition and international integration, which has improved the quality of life of Salvadorans and promoted the country’s economic development.<\/p>\n

The country also has a robust road and maritime infrastructure, essential for its logistics corridors, as cargo from North America passes through the country’s ports, highways and airports and goes on to Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.<\/p>\n
