Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The head of Angolan diplomacy, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, met, this Wednesday, in Luanda, with his Zimbabwean counterpart, Frederick Musiiwa Makamure Shava, to analyze aspects inherent to bilateral cooperation between the two States.<\/b><\/p>\n

The working meeting took place at the headquarters of Angolan diplomacy, on the sidelines of the II Session of the Bilateral Commission between Angola and Zimbabwe, and served for the two entities to assess the degree of cooperation between the two countries, identify new areas for strengthening cooperation, as well as the exchange of views on relevant national, regional and continental issues of common interest.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) states that cooperation between Angola and Zimbabwe is based on the Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation Agreement, signed between the two countries on October 15 1982, in Harare.<\/p>\n

In the document, MIREX also adds that relations between the two countries have remained cordial since the emergence of both States, the Republic of Angola in 1975 and the Republic of Zimbabwe in 1980.<\/p>\n
