Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola’s ambassador to Egypt, Nelson Cosme, represents the country at the Africa Tourism Forum, taking place until Tuesday, in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheik.<\/b><\/p>\n

The event constitutes a platform to promote the development of tourism on the continent and coordinate national strategies, in one of the regions where the activity grows the most in the world and has the greatest future, according to a note from the Angolan Diplomatic Mission in this North African country.<\/p>\n

In five panels, the meeting addresses the themes \u201cAfrica a new future\u201d, \u201cEgypt and Africa for the German market\u201d, \u201cHow markets read the future\u201d, \u201cDevelopment of the leading market\u201d and \u201cPotential of the continent\u201d, which include specific sub-themes, namely \u201csuccess of luxury brands\u201d and \u201caircraft program\u201d.<\/p>\n

Participating in the forum are authorities from the sector, experts from the tourism body from Germany and other European countries, representatives of companies and operators in the sector from various parts of the world, who consider how to enter the African market.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the opening, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, Ahmed Issa, highlighted the importance of the forum, having referred to the need to hold similar events annually, within the system of rotation between States.<\/p>\n

Tourist promotion<\/p>\n

Parallel to the event, ambassador Nelson Cosme held meetings with the president of the ATF tourist group, Selc\u0327uk Meral, co-organizer of the meeting, the vice-president of the Authority for Investment in Free Zones of Egypt, Yasser Ahmed, and with the founder of the company Real Investments in Cairo, Nasser Abdellatif, to whom he introduced Angola’s tourism potential.<\/p>\n

The diplomat also discussed, with these entities, the relevance of the forum for the tourism development of Angola and Africa in general.<\/p>\n

He then discussed the same subject with the president and founder of the Rixos hotel group, Fettah Tamince, main sponsor of the forum, and with Rola Jouny, from the Rocket Internacional group, also linked to the tourism sector.<\/p>\n

The ambassador extended the approach with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, Ahmed Issa, with a view to deepening bilateral relations in this specific sector.<\/p>\n

The Egyptian-Africa Tourism Forum (ATFEGYPT) was designed to produce added value for Egyptian and African tourism in general, and the current edition (6th) presents the main destinations for the more than two thousand invited professionals and airlines from 20 countries. In the last five years, the Antalya Tourism Fair (ATF) has been organized in Tu\u0308rkiye.<\/p>\n
