Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Optimizing the existing demographic potential in Africa will only be effective with a focus on the continuous training of the human capital of the States, said, this Friday, the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Vieira Lopes.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at the preparatory Virtual Conference for the Central African Region on the 9th Pan-African Congress, scheduled for October 30th to November 2nd, in Lome\u0301, Togo, he said that, in parallel with training, it is important to encourage youth to dedicate to the preservation of African culture and values.<\/p>\n

Only in this way, he said, will young people be defenders of the maxim: \u201cAfrican solutions for African problems\u201d.<\/p>\n

This Friday’s virtual conference, chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Francophonie and Congolese Abroad of the Republic of Congo, Jean Claude Gakosso, was focused on Economic Pan-Africanism and the African Emergency.<\/p>\n

For around three hours, participants debated aspects linked to the role and engagement of States in pursuing sustainable development objectives, especially with regard to the implementation of the 2030 and 2063 Agendas, the African Continental Free Trade Area, conflict resolution , the pacification of the continent and the challenges of the future.<\/p>\n
