Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) continue to be engaged in the operational, combative and educational-patriotic preparation of the troops, for the defense of the Nation, with the carrying out, in the Central Military Region, of Command and General Staff Training.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bThe military activity took place from the 28th to the 31st of May, under the command of the Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Dinis Segunda Lucama, on behalf of the branch commander, General Joa\u0303o Serafim Kitekulo.<\/p>\n

With a total of 500 officers mobilized, the training was attended by all Bodies and Directorates of the Large Units and Sub-Units of the Central Military Region (RMC), including members of the Ministry of the Interior of the provinces of Huambo, Benguela, Bie\u0301 and Cuanza-Sul.<\/p>\n

These are the personnel of the National Police and the Criminal Investigation (SIC), Migration and Foreigners (SME), Penitentiary (SP) and Civil Protection and Fire Services (SPCB) services.<\/p>\n

The event, witnessed by the commander of the RMC, Lieutenant General Sima\u0303o Carlitos “Wala”, served to increase the capacity for military intervention in all aspects and, at the same time, improve the cooperation of Defense and Security bodies.<\/p>\n

The training also aimed to prepare the forces within the framework of joint actions to combat crime, help the population in the event of accidents and natural calamities, among other actions, in favor of common well-being.<\/p>\n

Officers from the Eastern (Moxico, Lunda-Norte and Lunda-Sul) and Southwest (Cuando Cubango) military regions also participated.<\/p>\n

In addition to these three, the other military areas in Angola are the North, South and Luanda.<\/p>\n
