Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Secretary of State for Energy, Arlindo Carlos, stated in Catabola, Bie\u0301 province, that investments in the electricity sector will allow productive activities to be leveraged, for rapid development of the country’s various regions.<\/b><\/p>\n

Arlndo Carlos worked this Sunday in this central\/southern province of the country, where he observed the progress of energy projects in the municipalities of Andulo, Nhare\u0302a, Catabola and Cuito.<\/p>\n

According to the Secretary of State, investments in the sector, among the various gains, will also boost agricultural production, to combat poverty among the population.<\/p>\n

Therefore, he assured that the government will continue to work to improve the supply of electricity, through the integration of four municipalities in this province into the national grid, in the medium term.<\/p>\n

During his stay in Bie\u0301, Arlindo Carlos visited, in the municipality of Andulo, the thermal plant and the land where the new electrical substation will be built, which will have a capacity of 20 megawatts.<\/p>\n

In Nhare\u0302a, the Secretary of State for Energy noted the progress of construction work on the electrical substation, as well as being informed about the town’s electrification project.<\/p>\n

Already in Catabola, the person in charge visited the electrification project in this location.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the vice-governor for the technical area and infrastructure, Edgar Hila\u0301rio, appealed to the business class to invest in the productive sector in the municipalities of Andulo, Nhare\u0302a (North) and Camacupa, Catabola (East), highlighting that the energy problem electrical is outdated.<\/p>\n
