Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The vice-governor for the technical sector and infrastructures of Lunda-Sul, Cla\u0301udio Pemessa, warned on Monday that the government is considering reverting to its favor the land without useful and active use, based on the Land Law automatic reversion to the legal sphere of the State.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, at the end of the VII ordinary meeting of the Lunda-Sul government, the official highlighted that municipal administrations were instructed to identify, through the database, citizens with more than one piece of land without due use, in order to be reverted in favor of the State.<\/p>\n

He informed that the meeting also recommended rigor in the allocation of land, to prevent citizens who already own more than one piece of land from benefiting again.<\/p>\n

As part of the allotment of land for self-directed construction, the province of Lunda-Sul has 10 land reserves in the four municipalities, Saurimo with four, Cacolo, Dala and Muconda, with two each.<\/p>\n

The meeting chaired by the governor of Lunda-Sul, Daniel Neto, recommended the registration of people in vulnerable situations, with a view to creating a database, aiming to improve social assistance.<\/p>\n

The meeting analyzed the plan for allocating land reserves, reorienting social assistance policies or measures, with the engagement of churches, NGOs, the status of existing Identity Cards in the civil and criminal departments, implementation of the \u201cChild Friendly Municipality\u201d project and the preparations for the General Population and Housing Census.<\/p>\n
