The Secretary of State and the provincial governor proceeded with the symbolic delivery of cards to bench sellers, street vendors and fairgrounds to be able to proceed with other steps that allow them to formalize the business and have the Tax Identification Number (NIF).<\/p>\n<p>The act of launching the PREI in U\u00edge also aimed to allow entrepreneurs and other people who carry out commercial activity informally to set up companies in individual, collective, cooperatives, associations and public limited companies. In the process, beneficiaries can also register their births, obtain their Identity Card, benefit from financial literacy training, open bank accounts and register with the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).<\/p>\n<p>The program also provides for the professional training of beneficiaries, at the National Institute for Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP) and the Local Center for Entrepreneurship and Employment Services (CLESE), as well as the provision of microcredit for business expansion, contributing to the development of the country&#8217;s economy.<\/p>\n<p><b>Literacy<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The new phase of the implementation of the PREI, according to the Secretary of State for the Economy, includes literacy training for informal economic agents.<\/p>\n<p>Dalva Ringote said that the objective is to have a better interpretation of the program, to facilitate the performance of all tasks related to the process, from registering with the municipal administration, obtaining the BI, opening bank accounts, requesting microcredit and other administrative services.<\/p>\n<p>The provincial governor underlined that the launch of the PREI in the province of U\u00edge represents the guarantee of a better future for those who work informally.<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted that the registration in the National Social Security System that guarantees the retirement pension in the elderly, for reasons of disability or others that prevent them from continuing with activities. &#8220;Today we all have the strength to work. Tomorrow, we will no longer have them.
