Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan writer Ondjaki publishes this month \u201cSenhor Feroz\u201d, a poetic tale illustrated by Alex Gozblau, about freedom and family ties, with the seal of the publisher Caminho.<\/b><\/p>\n

The book, entitled “Mister Fierce – people, guitars, birds, parties, houses, shadows, shards, rubber ducks and my grandfather, sung by Ondjaki and scribbled by Gozblau”, presents a gallery of references and characters that populate the story. .<\/p>\n

“Mister Feroz” is Ondjaki’s latest illustrated book for the youngest, after having released “The story of the sun and the rhino”, a fable illustrated by Catalina V\u00e1squez in 2020, and “Ombela, the origin of the rains”, with Rachel Caiano, in 2019.<\/p>\n

Ondjaki, the literary pseudonym of Ndalu de Almeida, 44, has a dozen works for the youngest, as well as short stories and novels for young people, including “O voo do dolphin”, “O Le\u00e3o e o Coelho bouncing”, “A bicycle that had mustaches\u201d and \u201cThe fireflies inviter\u201d.<\/p>\n

In addition to Gozblau, Catalina V\u00e1squez and Rachel Caiano, Ondjaki has also collaborated with Danuta Wojciechowska and Ant\u00f3nio Jorge Gon\u00e7alves.<\/p>\n

Ondjaki also co-directed the film “Oxal\u00e1 grow pitangas” (2007), with Kiluanje Liberdade, and this year, he premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival, Netherlands, with “Vou Changing the Kitchen”.<\/p>\n
