“We are working and we cannot have any perspective; our only perspective is to discover the truth and then say something; we are working to discover the truth”, said yesterday H\u00e9lder Pitta Gr\u00f3z, questioned by Lusa.<\/p>\n

The Attorney General of the Republic, who preferred not to go into details, assured that the work is taking place in conjunction with the Sao Tome counterpart, referring not to be able to describe “what is being done in concrete”.<\/p>\n

“We are exchanging information [with the S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Pr\u00edncipe Attorney’s Office]. The prospect of filing or not, I cannot tell you, because we are working”, he stressed.<\/p>\n

H\u00e9lder Pitta Gr\u00f3z also said that, in relation to this case, the Angolan PGR “has not yet constituted defendants”, stressing that work is being carried out with all the countries of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) on similar cases.<\/p>\n

Pitta Gr\u00f3z was speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the international conference on “Asset Recovery”, in Luanda, as part of the celebrations for the 43 years of the PGR in Angola.<\/p>\n
