Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Petro World has said it expects to inaugurate a lubricants manufacturer in 2025 and will create roughly 20,000 new jobs, its operations director, Evandro dos Santos announced Saturday.<\/b><\/p>\n

As part of the 5th conference on oil and gas, the manager said they intend to employ some citizens at the ship base, while others will work at the manufacturing unit, which will have an estimated production capacity of 10,000 liters of lubricants per day.<\/p>\n

The manufacturer is expected to meet the demand of the automotive, mining and construction industries, Santos said, adding that the project is budgeted at 5 million US dollars, with a total 250 million US dollars to expand operations.<\/p>\n

According to Evandro dos Santos, PetroWorld intends to implement a used oil recycling system, with material coming from Dubai and collected in Angolan offices and companies.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that the choice of Angola as a base for Petro World\u2019s expansion in Africa is due to the country’s openness to foreign investment and the potential of the local market.<\/p>\n

\u201cAngola will also serve as a platform for the export of lubricants to neighboring countries, such as Namibia, South Africa and the Congo,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The country’s capital, Luanda, hosted the 5th Angola International Oil and Gas Conference on October 2 and 3.<\/p>\n
