Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola hosts, from May 1st to 5th, for the first time, the Itinerant Festival of the Portuguese Language (Festin), created to massify cinematography in the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP), in a partnership with the Angolan Association of Film Professionals and Audiovisual (APROCIMA).<\/b><\/p>\n

The co-producer of the festival and representative of APROCIMA, Francisco Keth, informed that the activity takes place in the spaces of Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Arte e Cultura and Ubuntu, in Luanda, and is part of the program “Luanda capital of culture of the CPLP”.<\/p>\n

The festival, he explained, plans to show films for children and adults, including four feature films and ten short films produced and directed by Angolan, Brazilian, Cape Verdean, Mozambican and Portuguese creators.<\/p>\n

Festin, he said, will also include the holding of a workshop for event producers, free of charge, directed by a Brazilian specialist. “With the festival, the exchange between APROCIMA and Festin was born, based on the exchange of experiences and information”, she pointed out.<\/p>\n

The film exhibition opens on Sunday, May 1st, at 5 pm, with the film “Pureza”, at Ubuntu \u2013 Casa de Cultura e Artes, Vila Alice, where APROCIMA’s headquarters are located.<\/p>\n

“Pureza” is a Brazilian fiction awarded at the last edition of FESTin, in 2021. In the biographical drama genre, the film is directed by director Renato Barbieri, with co-author of the script with Marcus Ligocki, an original idea by Hugo Santar\u00e9m<\/p>\n
