Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>At least 1,853 companies in the various fields of activity have already been licensed in Benguela province by the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), in the areas of commerce, services, agriculture, livestock, fisheries and manufacturing.<\/b><\/p>\n

The provincial director of INAPEM, Lino Cassivela, said that 52 companies, both certified and uncertified, received funding from PRODESI, via Notice no. Physical execution is 95 percent and financial execution is 98 percent, emphasized Lino Cassivela.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the funding allowed the creation of 524 new jobs, especially for young people. The official referred to the need to work more on strengthening the relationship between public institutions and the private sector, in order to improve the business environment, both locally and nationally.<\/p>\n

Currently, he said, INAPEM advises companies in order for them to obtain financing for their projects from commercial banks, especially with regard to support in improving documentation, which has been the main obstacle to bank financing.<\/p>\n

INAPEM, supervised by the Ministry of Economy, is the body responsible for monitoring, certifying and classifying companies, as well as providing training and business training services, technical assistance and consultancy to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).<\/p>\n
