Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of Luanda province, Lui\u0301s Nunes, on Thursday called for the strengthening of ties between local administrations and citizens to solve the problems that afflict the communities.<\/b><\/p>\n

The request was made during the swearing-in ceremony of new municipal administrators and directors of Luanda province.<\/p>\n

The governor stressed that the moment is one of renewal and hope, since the new administrative political division brings with it changes in the way of thinking, acting and relationship between communities and rulers.<\/p>\n

Lui\u0301s Nunes said that the current territorial configuration offers a unique opportunity to redefine the paradigm of governing, although with reduced territories.<\/p>\n

The governor drew attention to the expanded social responsibility, as well as the approach of the public administration to the citizens.<\/p>\n

‘It is necessary to listen to the concerns, understand the challenges and, above all, transform governance into a people-centred practice’, he said.<\/p>\n

In this context, he said that the current moment requires a governmental mentality that prioritizes the real day-to-day problems of the municipalities, not being oblivious to the concrete reality.<\/p>\n

‘We must be present alongside the communities, listening, understanding and acting with solidarity and pragmatism,’ he stressed.<\/p>\n

Therefore, he urged the newly inducted to present a better service with honour, patriotism, humanism, justice and professionalism.<\/p>\n

The leader spoke of the importance of communicating well in an assertive, structured, open, clear and adapted way to each social context.<\/p>\n

The governor swore in the administrators Milca Caquesse, from the municipality of Ingombota, Fernando Joa\u0303o, from Cacuaco, Na\u0301dia Neto (from Cazenga), Deme\u0301trio de Sepu\u0301lveda (from Viana), Wilson Morais (from Belas), Naulila Andre\u0301 (from Kilamba Kiaxi) and Sandra Caetano Batalha (from Talatona).<\/p>\n

Also sworn in were the administrators Baudi\u0301lio Vaz, from the municipality of Mussulo, Beta\u0302nia Lopes, from Sambizanga, Lourenc\u0327o Domingos, from Rangel, Pedro Paca, from Maianga, and Loide Faria, from Samba, Claudinete Fragoso, from Camama, as well as Euclides da Costa, from Mulenvos, Arlindo dos Santos, from Kilamba, and Jose\u0301 Bastos, from Hoji Ya Henda.<\/p>\n

The governor also swore in the directors of the Provincial Office of Youth and Sports, Ernesto Andre\u0301, Provincial of Culture and Tourism, Teresa Mbuta, and the Luanda Entrepreneur Academy, Nilza Sardinha.<\/p>\n
