{"id":7726,"date":"2022-05-10T14:13:19","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T14:13:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/parties-reinforce-call-for-tranquility"},"modified":"2022-05-10T14:44:57","modified_gmt":"2022-05-10T14:44:57","slug":"parties-reinforce-call-for-tranquility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/parties-reinforce-call-for-tranquility","title":{"rendered":"Parties reinforce call for tranquility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>The political parties UNITA, FNLA and PRS reinforced, this Monday, the appeal to citizens to face the general elections, scheduled for August this year, in a climate of peace and national unity, with a view to maintaining the Democratic State and the rule of law.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This position was reiterated during the reopening of the One-Stop Public Service Desks (BUAP), in order to respond to citizens&#8217; complaints about their electoral data.<\/p>\n<p>According to the provincial secretary for Monitoring the Municipalities of the FNLA, Mateus Cassule, quoted by Angop, the organization has worked on raising awareness among militants to adhere to the vote and assume an orderly and responsible posture, so that the election is a true &#8220;party of democracy&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Along the same lines, the provincial secretary for Electoral and Parliamentary Affairs of the PRS, Jacob Jos\u00e9, defended the mobilization of different social segments with a view to holding free, fair and transparent elections.
