Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of the province of Cabinda, Suzana de Abreu, asked for greater collaboration from the population with the new administrators of the municipalities of Necuto and Miconje, for the quick development of these new districts.<\/b><\/p>\n

When speaking on Saturday at the presentation of the new managers appointed within the framework of the country’s new Political-Administrative Division (DPA), the governor said that only with the cooperation of all living forces will the new municipalities achieve the desired socio-economic development, in the most varied domains.<\/p>\n

She admitted that with their elevation to the category of municipalities, the two districts will make a positive leap in promoting ecological tourism and scientific research, as they are located in the \u201clungs\u201d of the Maiombe forest, the second largest in the world after Amazona, in Brazil.<\/p>\n

The Necuto and Miconje’s municipal administrators, Francisco Vanny Joaquim and Damia\u0303o Pedro Panzo, respectively, were introduced on the occasion, and both committed working for the well-being of the local inhabitants.<\/p>\n

The municipality of Necuto, formerly a commune attached to the municipality of Buco-Zau, has an estimated population of more than 6,000 inhabitants, spread across 3 districts: Pangamongo, Caio Contene and Cungo Butuno.<\/p>\n

In turn, Miconje, detached from the municipality of Belize, has more than 7 thousand inhabitants, spread out across the districts of Bulo, Caio Guembo and Kikumba Congo.<\/p>\n
