Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The status of bilateral cooperation, in the most varied areas of political, diplomatic, economic and commercial life between Angola and Japan, was once again analyzed, today, in Luanda, by the authorities of the two countries.<\/b><\/p>\n

To this end, Jiro Maruhashi, Japanese ambassador to Angola, met, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), with Domingos Cust\u00f3dio Vieira Lopes, Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Communities Abroad, addressing issues related to deepening bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n

According to a statement from MIREX, the occasion served for the Japanese diplomat in Angola to inform the Secretary of State about the preparations for the Summit of Heads of State and Government of TICAD, to be held on 27 and 28 August, in Tunis, Tunisia.<\/p>\n

The meeting also served for the two individuals to discuss the status of the signature of the exchange of notes regarding the payment of the Angolan debt to Japan, as well as to analyze bilateral cooperation, above all, the Agreement for the Reciprocal Protection of Investments and the Agreement Visa Waiver for Diplomatic and Official Passports.<\/p>\n
