Most notably, he led the club to victory in the zonal qualifying championship in 2016, earning them a spot in the 2017 national first division football championship.<\/p>\n<p>Jorge Gomes Mangrinha built infrastructure and provided social support for young athletes, ensuring they had shelter, food, and education.<\/p>\n<p>The club maintains a strong presence in national sports to this day, competing in the B series of the qualifying zone for the top division this season. It occupies fourth place with 18 points, one matchday away from the end of the competition.<\/p>\n<p>Jorge Gomes Mangrinha was a former player for Sport Huambo e Benfica (Mambroa), where he made a name for himself as a right winger from 1978 to 1985.
