Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angolan apostle Ernestina Matias “Tina” received an award of Excellence on Friday from the Houses of Lords and Commons of the British Parliament, in a ceremony that took place at the Palace of Westminster, in London, for her work in favor of the gospel.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a note, the award and tribute to apostle Tina comes as recognition for her profound impact as an Intellectual and Religious Leader who inspires transformative change.<\/p>\n

The Angolan ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland, Jose\u0301 Patri\u0301cio, congratulated her on the Excellence award of the Houses of Lords and Commons of the British Parliament, which he considered as representing an honour for Angola.<\/p>\n

“It dignifies the country and the Angola brand, at a time when we have promoted engagement with the community, which is an asset for the country,” he said.<\/p>\n

The Angolan diplomat pointed out that the signs are positive and there is already greater proximity, dialogue and greater interaction with the Angolan community in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Jose\u0301 Patri\u0301cio stressed that “religious leaders are also ambassadors of Angola par excellence because they exalt integrity and love for the homeland”.<\/p>\n

During the meeting with the Head of the Diplomatic Mission of Angola in London, Pastor Ernestina Matias received a bouquet of roses, thanking the Embassy for the symbolic gesture and she said that civil society should help the authorities to develop the country in a sustainable way, leaving a legacy for future generations.<\/p>\n

Apostle Ernestina Diogo Matias, Angolan religious leader of the Pentecostal Church of Faith and Liberation, received the “African Achievers Award” in UK Parliament.<\/p>\n

In this 15th edition, the Awards honored more than 350 Africans, from more than 30 countries, and became one of the most respected platforms to defend African excellence globally.<\/p>\n

In ceremonies divided between the Houses of Commons and Lords of the British Parliament, this edition was organized by MP Diane Abbott, the first black woman to occupy a seat in the UK Parliament and Baroness Sandip, Member of the UK House of Lords and Chancellor of the University of Roehampton.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2010 by Nigerian lawyer and entrepreneur Tonye Rex Idaminabo, the Africans Achievers Awards celebrate individuals and institutions that promote transformative impact in leadership, entrepreneurship, education, agriculture, innovation and community development.<\/p>\n

The distinction has been awarded to Heads of State and policymakers, investors, creatives, and civil society leaders, inspiring the high-level engagement and strategic partnerships that define Africa\u2019s role in the global economy.<\/p>\n
