Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Two buildings with 78 compartments each, which previously belonged to the AAA group, were definitively transferred to the State in the province of Huambo, with the formal handover yesterday to the Justice and Human Rights sector.<\/b><\/p>\n

These are two former hotels of the IU chain, built in the province of Huambo by the AAA group, but arrested by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), in the context of anti-corruption actions. The formal delivery of the properties was made to the deputy provincial governor for the Political, Social and Economic sector, Francisco Jamba Kata.<\/p>\n

The buildings will house the Huambo Provincial Court, the PGR, the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE) and some services of the provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.<\/p>\n

Francisco Jamba Kata acknowledged that the delivery of the properties will guarantee better working conditions for justice operators and, at the same time, greater quality and dignity in work activities. He said it was an act that demonstrates the Government’s commitment to guaranteeing better working conditions.<\/p>\n

The deputy governor said he hoped that the properties would be preserved by all technicians and staff in the Justice and Human Rights sector.<\/p>\n

The coordinator of the Real Estate Reception Commission, Ernesto Est\u00eav\u00e3o Pedro, said that it was a symbolic act that aims to give the seized assets public use, as directed by the General Court of Justice, as the trustee.<\/p>\n

The presiding judge of the Provincial Court of Huambo, H\u00e9lder Vicente, considered that the reception of the properties represents the culmination of an arduous work, designed by the PGR, within the framework of the fight against corruption.<\/p>\n

The provincial delegate of IGAE, Augusto da Piedade, praised the State’s initiative, “as it represents a significant gain for the bodies that intervene in the administration of justice” and allows for better working conditions and comfort.<\/p>\n
