Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The return of purchasing power, which results from the reduction in the price of basic food products on the market, contributes to improving the quality of life of the populations of the municipality of Chibia, 45 kilometers south of the city of Lubango.<\/b><\/p>\n

The municipal administrator of Chibia, S\u00e9rgio da Cunha Velho, who provided the information yesterday, on the sidelines of the opening of a digital library and the delivery of milling and generator to the Major Seminary of the Catholic Mission of Jau, said that the drastic reduction in the price of rice , from 12,000 to 6,500 kwanzas, is an example that makes the population happy.<\/p>\n

He referred that the Government, through the Municipal Administration of Chibia, has planned actions to improve the socioeconomic conditions of numerous families, with the distribution of agricultural inputs, clothing and some nutritional supplements to families most affected by the drought, in order to mitigate the effects of the phenomenon.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9rgio da Cunha Velho praised the work of the Catholic Church in the revitalization of human capital and its contribution in different social areas and, also, valued the contribution that the Church dedicates in the rescue of moral and civic values \u200b\u200band in the creation of a healthy environment between the population.<\/p>\n
