Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Luanda – The President of the Republic, Jo\u00c3\u00a3o Louren\u00c3\u00a7o, said Thursday that the Am\u00c3\u00a9rico Boavida hospital in Luanda would be rehabilitated in the next two or three years.<\/p>\n

Last December, the health unit was visited by the Head of State who left guidelines for the start of rehabilitation and expansion work starting this month.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1958, the hospital has for some years shown strong signs of degradation.<\/p>\n

“In two or three years time we will have a new Hospital Am\u00c3\u00a9rico Boavida,” said the President of the Republic, who was speaking to journalists from five national and foreign media outlets.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, he regretted the fact that the Am\u00c3\u00a9rico Boavida hospital has not yet been rehabilitated, despite having directed the execution of the works in 2018.<\/p>\n
