{"id":9012,"date":"2022-05-31T14:50:56","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T14:50:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/celma-lourenco-sworn-in-as-titular-prosecutor"},"modified":"2022-05-31T16:11:27","modified_gmt":"2022-05-31T16:11:27","slug":"celma-lourenco-sworn-in-as-titular-prosecutor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/celma-lourenco-sworn-in-as-titular-prosecutor","title":{"rendered":"Celma Louren\u00e7o sworn in as titular prosecutor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>The vice-president of the Superior Council for the Judiciary of the Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office (CSMMP), Lu\u00eds da Mota Liz, representing the president, H\u00e9lder Pitta Groz, conferred, this Monday, the inauguration of the new holder of the Attorney General&#8217;s Office (PGR) in Hu\u00edla, Celma Moreira da Silva Louren\u00e7o, recently appointed, in a plenary session of the CSMMP.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>With the inauguration of prosecutor Celma Louren\u00e7o, four provinces now have women at the head of the PGR, namely Malanje, Bengo, Cuanza-Norte and Hu\u00edla. The PGR in Moxico province, however, was once headed by a woman.<\/p>\n<p>Mota Liz considered that the appointment of Celma Louren\u00e7o was not a random choice. She said that it was the result of a set of combined acts, depending on her work, dedication, intelligence and delivery, which made the collective recognize her ability to lead.<\/p>\n<p>The magistrate recalled that the prosecutor will lead the direction of a &#8220;very important province, as for Hu\u00edla&#8221;, with great economic value and considerable population density. He said he believes that Celma Louren\u00e7o puts the institution&#8217;s interests above any personal interest.<\/p>\n<p>The new titular prosecutor in Hu\u00edla thanked the PGR for the opportunity and trust placed in her and translated into two words what she considers essential for her mandate: &#8220;strength and health&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration ceremony took place in the main hall of the Pal\u00e1cio da Justi\u00e7a, in Luanda, and was attended by the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic for the Military Sphere, Filomeno Oct\u00e1vio, and Deputy Attorneys General Luciano Cachaca, Margarida Gon\u00e7alves , Pulqu\u00e9ria Van-D\u00fanem, Pedro Mendes de Carvalho, Domingos Joaquim and other members of the CSMMP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\">Angola<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola.
