Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The swimmer of Clube N\u00e1utico da Ilha de Luanda (CNIL), Wezza Morais, in the cadet class, broke on Sunday, with a time of 38 seconds and six hundredths, the national record, in the 50-meter butterfly event, in the dispute of the sixth edition of the Onda Sport Clube (OSC) Tournament.<\/b><\/p>\n

The competition was related to the first edition of the International Meeting by category “Tonangol”.<\/p>\n

Wezza Morais sprayed, at the Alvalade Swimming Pool Complex, in Luanda, the record of Carima Nicole, which was 38 seconds and 87 hundredths, achieved in 2018.<\/p>\n

With 46 thousand and 686 points, the 1\u00ba de Agosto team was the winner of the tournament in the men’s and women’s classes, followed by \u00d3scar Sport Clube (OSC) with 23 thousand and 450 points, while the CNIL team was third with 19 thousand and 679 points.<\/p>\n

By way of balance, the president of the OSC and coordinator of the event, Lu\u00eds Costa, said that the race exceeded expectations.<\/p>\n

“We are very satisfied with the athletes’ commitment, as well as with the consent of the parents. We had swimmers who evolved in their personal brands and by the involvement of everyone during and after the competition. responsible for the organization.<\/p>\n

The objective, according to Lu\u00eds Costa, is to continue to promote and massify water sport. He also recalled that the event brought together 48 practitioners of water football and 20 of underwater hockey who played games for recreation in the two days of competition.<\/p>\n

The international meeting was attended by 191 athletes, of both sexes, representing 1\u00ba de Agosto, OSC, CNIL, Clube Naval de Luanda, Academia Desportiva Escolar Ol\u00edmpica da Anuncia\u00e7\u00e3o (ADEOA) and Clube Barracudas de Maputo, on the occasion of of the CSO’s anniversary which is celebrated on the 21st of this month.<\/p>\n
