{"id":96752,"date":"2026-02-06T18:31:02","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T18:31:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/hotel-chain-four-seasons-prepares-to-enter-angolan-market"},"modified":"2026-02-07T08:07:02","modified_gmt":"2026-02-07T08:07:02","slug":"hotel-chain-four-seasons-prepares-to-enter-angolan-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/hotel-chain-four-seasons-prepares-to-enter-angolan-market","title":{"rendered":"Hotel Chain Four Seasons Prepares to Enter Angolan Market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"ap-article-header-tag\"> <strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong> <\/span><b>The Angolan Minister of Tourism, Marcio Daniel, announced on Wednesday in Dubai that Angola is preparing for a visit from a development team from the international hotel chain Four Seasons, with the aim of entering the national market.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Angolan official made the statement on the sidelines of the World Government Summit (WGS), which ends Thursday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, after three days of working sessions.<\/p>\n<p>According to the minister, Angola had the opportunity to interact with a prestigious audience of global public decision-makers and major international hotel chain managers, including Hilton and Four Seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The minister clarified that the interaction consisted of sharing knowledge about the set of characteristics that make Angola a good destination for new investments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe shared that Angola is a country that, from a security point of view, in comparison with other countries in the region, is one of the safest,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that Angola has a very solid strategy for attracting major events, a combination of factors that makes the country a good destination for investment and international visits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe message was well received,\u201d he emphasized, reaffirming that the government is strengthening relations with major hotel chains, with the planned opening of four Hilton hotels in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding tourism infrastructure, he said Angola is working to resolve the existing investment gap, believing that attracting private investment requires the State to do its part.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the State&#8217;s role is to build infrastructure in key tourist areas, making it easier for private investors, both national and international, to develop the hospitality industry in these destinations.<\/p>\n<p>The minister said the opportunity also served to inform major international chains that Angola has a thriving private sector, capable of being their partner when they invest in the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have entrepreneurs with sufficient financial resources to partner with these large chains.
