Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Provincial Government of Benguela reaffirmed, this Thursday, in the municipality of Lobito, its ongoing commitment to implementing policies and actions that promote the empowerment of young people.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was provided by the Vice-Governor for the Political, Social and Economic sector of Benguela, Ca\u0301tia Cachuco, during the opening of the first national conference of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Angola (AJEA).<\/p>\n

According to her, these policies and actions also aim to promote access to decent employment and the creation of favorable conditions<\/p>\n

for sustainable development.<\/p>\n

Ca\u0301tia Cachuco stated that working well does not only mean fulfilling obligations, but doing so with dedication, ethics, innovation, a sense of mission and, above all, with responsibility and commitment.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, he drew the youth’s attention to a profound reflection on their role in building a just, prosperous and more inclusive society, appealing to them to take advantage of the event to create opportunities aimed at strengthening partnerships, stimulating investments and valuing their potential.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, he considered that the conference marks a moment of celebration and also of reflection and commitment to the future of the<\/p>\n

province, of Angolan youth and, particularly, of Benguela youth. “This initiative takes place in a context of great symbolism, in which we celebrate the month of peace, youth and the eighth anniversary of AJEA.<\/p>\n

These three dimensions crossed, in a harmonious and inspiring way, remind us that peace is the indispensable foundation for progress and youth the driving force capable of transforming challenges into opportunities, which are revealed in sustainable solutions,” he stressed.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, he mentioned that Expo-AJEA, an event that will take place under the motto “We have to work to be well,” on the sidelines of the AJEA conference, emerges as a privileged platform for the promotion of youth entrepreneurship, creation, and innovation, in a space where ideas take shape, talents are revealed, and bridges are built between the present and the future.<\/p>\n

The president of AJEA, Alfredo Nguli, said that this first national conference is being held in commemoration of the institution’s eighth anniversary, whose objective is to encourage and unite young people with an entrepreneurial spirit, in order to stimulate self-employment and increase employability.<\/p>\n

“We have noticed many youth initiatives, but there has been a lack of inputs and resources to materialize, in the medium and short term, the<\/p>\n

objectives set out in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, to develop the country’s economy,” he said.<\/p>\n

He highlighted the Lobito Corridor as an opportunity for youth in the context of economic diversification and urged those present to undertake projects within the framework of financial, fiscal and legal literacy, for the development of companies. Over two days, the conference will address the following topics: \u201cThe spiritual power in the business sector\u201d, \u201cThe contribution of youth in the Lobito Corridor and its opportunities\u201d, \u201cStrategies for reconciling diversified responsibilities and career management\u201d, \u201cMacroeconomic strategy in the face of the global financial crisis\u201d, \u201cBusiness positioning of the manager for better company profitability\u201d, \u201cBusiness competitiveness and human resource management strategy\u201d and \u201cBusiness productivity goals\u201d. Participating in the event, which will also mark the 4th edition of Expo-AJEA 2026, are AJEA officials from the provinces of Benguela, Bengo, Cuanza-Norte, Cabinda, Malanje, Cubango, Ui\u0301ge, Bie\u0301 and Huambo.<\/p>\n
