Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falca\u0303o, declared on Tuesday (14), in Luanda, that the Angolan Executive continues to take firm, structured and progressive steps towards the empowerment of young people, with concrete opportunities and effective results.<\/b><\/p>\n

In an official message, and on the occasion of April 14th, Angolan Youth Day, the minister emphasizes that the Youth Development Plan 2025\u20132027 is organizing a new basis for action.<\/p>\n

To this end, he points to market-oriented training, support for youth entrepreneurship, promotion of self-employment, expansion of access to financial education and the valorization of talent and innovation.<\/p>\n

“We are guiding young people towards sectors that produce real wealth: agribusiness, beekeeping, aquaculture, poultry farming and the manufacturing industry because we believe that the future of Angola is not built only with ideas, it is built with production,” the document reads.<\/p>\n

The minister believes that Angolan youth need not only recognition, but also real opportunities, concrete paths, confidence, and results.<\/p>\n

According to Rui Falca\u0303o, Angola is experiencing a new historical cycle, after 50 years of Independence, characterized by greater demands in terms of competitiveness and productivity.<\/p>\n

In this context, he argues that youth should assume an active role, but with the support of effective public policies.<\/p>\n

However, he acknowledges that many young people continue to face difficulties in accessing employment and opportunities, reiterating that the Executive’s commitment is to create a more favorable environment for this generation.<\/p>\n

As part of the celebrations, the April Youth 2026 Campaign is taking place throughout the country, an initiative that has mobilized thousands of young people in activities focused on innovation, empowerment, and development.<\/p>\n

He concluded that Angola’s future depends on the ability to transform potential into concrete results, advocating for joint action between the State and youth.<\/p>\n
