Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio on Monday received, in an audience, the Korean Ambassador to Angola, Chou Kwang-Jin, with whom he analyzed the current state of bilateral relations.<\/b><\/p>\n

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, allowed for an exchange of views on the prospects for strengthening cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the parties highlighted the strength of the friendly and cooperative relations, based on several years of mutually beneficial partnership, with an emphasis on regular political dialogue and the convergence of interests in areas such as sustainable development, innovation and economic modernization.<\/p>\n

The meeting also mentioned the State visit of the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, to the Republic of Korea, considered a milestone in deepening bilateral relations and in promoting new opportunities for investment, trade and technical-scientific cooperation.<\/p>\n

At the multilateral level, Angola and Korea reiterated their commitment to cooperation within the United Nations, focusing on the promotion of multilateralism, peace, and international security.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, the South Korean diplomat expressed solidarity with the victims of the floods in Benguela province, offering condolences to the Angolan government and the affected families.<\/p>\n

Both sides reaffirmed their willingness to deepen bilateral relations for the benefit of the people of both countries.<\/p>\n
