\nThe 16th edition of the Global Peace Index of the Institute of Economics and Peace of Australia (IEP) published yesterday, analyzes the trends of peace, the economic value and how to develop peaceful societies, whose indicators point to three domains, namely, the level of security and social protection, the scale of the ongoing domestic and international conflict and the degree of militarization.<\/p>\n

In this regard, the specialist in International Relations Matias Pires considered the analysis by the Australian Institute of Economics and Peace “a great achievement from the point of view of the country’s international recognition”.<\/p>\n

In his view, this positive assessment also comes at a time when, recently, the President of the Republic, Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, was designated Champion of the African Union for Peace and Reconciliation in Africa, at the end of the Malabo Summit, in Equatorial Guinea. .
