Africa-Press – Botswana. Two man aged between 23 and 30 were arrested minutes after stealing alcohol from a bottle store at Sese village.
The duo were caught trying to flee the scene while the third one managed to escape during the police chase.
Assistant Supritendent, Kenyaditswe Mafoko, of Jwaneng Police Station said the incident happened during the day.
“When the incident happened fortunately some of our officers were in Sese, we managed to catch two of them while the other one managed to escape. We are still looking for him,” he said.
Mafoko said previously there was another incident in Naledi, where a family was attacked by thieves with knives while sleeping. The thieves managed to walk away with electronic gadgets.
“We do have several cases of house break-ins and have arrested some suspects,” he said.
