Africa-Press – Botswana. There is need for a cordial working relationship between Kgatleng Land Board members, village authorities, political leadership and technocrats for seamless service delivery, Mochudi West Member of Parliament, Mr Mmusi Kgafela has said.

Mr Kgafela said this during his visit to the Kgatleng landboard on January 10, where he informed the board members that the MP’s administrative office was inundated with reports of frustrations emanating from unfair allocations and inconsistent acknowledgment letters among other complaints.

“These deafening sentiments if they are anything to go by, are unpalatable,” Mr Kgafela said.

He therefore called on board members who comprised executive members of Mochudi, Mmathubudukwane and Oodi sub-land boards to improve service delivery by constant communication with the public as that would minimise complaints.

Kgatleng Land Board chairperson, Ms Esther Serati assured the MP that members would work hard to reduce complaints.

Ms Serati said some vacant board positions needed to be filled so that the board functions were not disrupted by failure to form a quorum.

MP Kgafela’s visit to the land board was meant to exchange notes with members about their constraints and also find practicable solutions.
