Africa-Press – Botswana. President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi is in the US to officiate at the Botswana-Dallas business networking engagement scheduled to commence in the Texas city saturday.
A Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release says Axxess company founder and president, Mr John Olajide, in partnership with Botswana Investment and Trade Centre, organised the engagement expected to focus on doing business in Botswana in anticipation of the Corporate Council on Africa’s US-Africa Business conference slated for July in Gaborone.
“The networking engagement will also provide an opportunity to strengthen Botswana-Texas trade and investment ties, particularly in infrastructure, ICT, agriculture and health,” says the release.
Headquartered in Dallas, Axxess is a leading home health care company.
First Lady Neo Masisi, Minister of Agriculture, Mr Fidelis Molao, Minister of Health, Dr Edwin Dikoloti, Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Mmusi Kgafela, Minister of Entrepreneurship Mr Karabo Gare and senior government officials are accompanying the President.
