Africa-Press – Botswana. Botswana Softball Masters Association (BOSMA) will hold its third tournament in Gaborone yesterday and today. BOSMA chairperson, Gloria Gaosikelwe, said in an interview Wednesday that the tournament would have seven women’s teams and six men’s teams from Botswana and South Africa.
It would be played at the National Diamond, Cricket Ovals and Vikings grounds.
She said women teams would be from Botswana and one from South Africa.
Five men’s teams would be from Botswana while one would be from South Africa. The teams include Diamonds, KDK, Saints, Free Souls, Orapa Masters, Softball
Dads, Golden Divas, Diphala, Best Batters, Flames and Mayoung.
Gaosikelwe, however, said this year’s tournament would be different from the past two as they had secured multiple sponsors.
The finals would be played today at 3pm for women while men’s would be at 4:30pm
