Africa-Press – Botswana. Under 20 women national football team is in Morocco where it will play two friendly games with that nations junior team in preparation for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The games will be played at Mohammed V1 Stadium in Rabat on Thursday and Sunday.
The local girls are looking to make history by qualifying for the World Cup for the first time.
Newly appointed Under 20 head coach, Sepheko Motlhagodi said all the players were ready and looking forward to both friendly games, adding that they would try some combinations to assess their strengths and weakness.
The team has already played friendlies against Lesotho, The Mares and other local teams.
They will play Cameron in a qualifier game next month.
