Africa-Press – Botswana. Performance Improvement Coordinators (PICs) play a crucial role in the mindset change campaign team.
During the two-day mindset change campaign training for Performance Improvement Coordinators (PIC) in Gaborone on Wednesday, Chief of Staff Mr Boyce Sebetela said the coordinators had the ability to enhance effectiveness and efficiency within government departments.
Mr Sebetela highlighted the importance of PICs in bolstering national productivity, ensuring compliance with government procedures, and instilling a spirit of mindset change due to their proximity and familiarity with their units. The training aimed to equip PICs with the necessary knowledge to mentor their unit members and promote the values of the program. Sebetela noted that PICs are well-positioned to influence change at both the office and community level, emphasizing the importance of their strategic partnership.
In addition, Mindset Change Campaign Secretariat’s Ms Thato Nthite mentioned that the initial phase of the campaign targeted various stakeholders, including Dikgosi, Church Leaders, Council Secretariat, and Land Board Secretariat. Ms Nthite urged everyone to embrace the mindset change, urging individuals to participate actively.
