Africa-Press – Botswana. Orange Botswana has reinforced its position as a market leader by offering some of the most affordable data rates in the country. A recent study by the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) reviewed pricing across all major telecom operators, confirming Orange Botswana’s commitment to value-driven and competitively priced products.
The BOCRA benchmark highlighted retail data offerings nationwide, showing that Orange Botswana continues to provide products that are both accessible and aligned with consumer needs. The study reflects the company’s focus on affordability as a key driver of digital inclusion.
“We have always believed that affordability is the foundation of true digital inclusion,” said Orange Botswana CEO Néné Maïga. “The BOCRA benchmark simply affirmed what our customers already know. Orange Botswana consistently offers some of the best-priced data products in the market.”
Orange Botswana has reduced its entry-level 100MB bundle from P5 to P2, making it one of the lowest-priced options in Botswana. The operator has also revamped its large-bundle offerings. The new 150GB bundle is now available at P599, a significant improvement from the previous 100GB bundle priced at P899, which has been discontinued.
The pricing restructure reflects Orange Botswana’s strategy to align products with consumer behaviour and market trends. By focusing on affordability and accessibility, the operator is setting a new standard for consumer-centred connectivity.
This decisive shift positions Orange Botswana as a leader in promoting digital inclusion while maintaining competitive advantage in the telecommunications sector. Consumers benefit from greater access to digital services at sustainable prices, reinforcing Orange Botswana’s ambition to deliver market-leading, value-driven products.
