Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Foreign Affairs, T\u00e9te Ant\u00f3nio, chaired, Thursday(14), in Lusaka, Republic of Zambia, the African Union Ministerial Committee on Candidatures in the International System, which analyzed the candidacies submitted by Member States, including , that of the Angolan Sebasti\u00e3o da Silva Isata.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Committee expressed satisfaction at the successful candidacy of former Prime Minister of Togo, Gilbert Houngbo, for the post of Director-General of the International Labor Organization (ILO), for the period 2022-2026, elected last March in Geneva. , Switzerland.<\/p>\n

Angolan candidate Domingos de Carvalho Viana Moreira was elected a member of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf (CLCS), for the period 2023-2027, in June this year, in New York, United States.<\/p>\n
