Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>Alexia Putellas, Lena Oberdorf and Beth Mead were yesterday chosen by UEFA as the three finalists for the award of the Best Player of the Year.<\/p>\n

Barcelona footballer Alexis Putellas is looking to re-validate the crown she won in 2021.<\/p>\n

However, she has a difficult task, with Wolfsburg’s Lena Oberdorf, recently named best young player at Euro 2022, on the cusp of victory.<\/p>\n

And with Arsenal and England striker Beth Mead, who recently won the European Championship, played in her country, having been a key element, with six goals and respective Golden Boot, presenting herself at this stage with great favoritism to collect the prize.<\/p>\n

The award will be awarded on the 25th of August, when the Champions League draws.<\/p>\n
