Africa-Press – Botswana. <\/strong><\/span>More than 240 Chinese and African delegates from 40 countries and regions pledged to strengthen cooperation in the field of Social Communication, during the 5th Forum on Cooperation between the African and Chinese Media, held on Thursday in Beijing, the Chinese capital.<\/b><\/p>\n

The meeting was jointly organized by the National Radio and Television Administration of China, the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality and the African Broadcasting Union, according to Chinese news agency Xinhua.<\/p>\n

Welcoming the fruitful results and valuable experience that the forum has gained since its inception, Huang Kunming, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, urged Chinese and African media to play an “important role” in deepening China-Africa friendship.
